BrainTech is a new industry born from the fusion of neuroscience and IT. The market size is expected to reach 5 trillion yen by 2025, and the social impact is expected to be unprecedented. At the BrainTech Conference, Professor Hirata of Neurosurgery at Osaka University will give a keynote speech on the potential of BrainTech, including the clinical application of BMI (Brain Machine Interface). After the speech, the Consortium members and Professor Hirata will discuss the future possibilities opened up by BrainTech, and the rich future and creation that we should be heading towards, and think about “flexible living and friendly society through neuroscience and IT” and “the world of inter-brain communication”.
